Dear ,
This year Curtin University is celebrating 50 Years of Innovation. That's 50 years since the first students commenced at our predecessor institution, the Western Australian Institute of Technology (WAIT), back in 1967.
To mark this significant milestone for both the University and the Geography discipline, we are delighted to invite you to our upcoming celebration, 50 Years of Innovation in Geography at Curtin on Tuesday 12 December 2017.
Hosted by Emeritus Professor and geography legend, Roy Jones, this special event will include drinks and canapés as we celebrate Curtin’s contribution to Geography in Western Australia, and reconnect with alumni, current students and staff from the many professions and places where Geography has taken them.
A bottle of wine will be awarded to the first person who correctly identifies the students doing fieldwork in the photograph below - two bottles of wine if they are in it themselves!
We are keen to invite as many graduates as possible and ask that you forward this invitation to other alumni with whom you are in contact. Thank you for helping us spread the word.
We look forward to celebrating with you. See you in December!
Kind regards, Professor Joseli Macedo Head of School, School of Built Environment
