Curtin University is celebrating 50 years since the first students commenced at our predecessor institution, the Western Australian Institute of Technology (WAIT), back in 1967. To mark this very special milestone, Curtin's Information Studies Alumni Chapter has the pleasure of inviting you to a Celebratory Dinner on Wednesday 2 August 2017 at Common Ground Cafe at the Bentley campus.
Join us for a buffet dinner with guest speaker Janette Wright. Janette, a WAIT graduate, is now Dean of Libraries at the United Arab Emirates University in Abu Dhabi. She will share highlights of her interesting career in libraries and her insight into building resilience in the workplace.
Don’t miss this opportunity to hear from Janette and to mingle with other Information Studies alumni and staff.
