Jordina Quain

Jordina has graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Arts (Performance Studies), a Graduate Diploma in Sexology, and is currently studying her Masters of Public Health. 

Jordina combines her passions of social justice and education to further the health knowledge and experiences of communities. Jordina works for the Youth Affairs Council of WA as a peer sexual health educator, and for the Sexuality Education Counselling Consultancy Agency running workshops to educate carers/parents and teachers about sexuality and rights regarding people with a disability.

Jordina is on the board of Borderless Friendship WA (BFWA), a small not-for-profit organisation that raises funds and volunteers in remote Northern Thailand with Hill Tribe communities. BFWA collaboratively work to address social determinants of health that reinforce cycles of poverty in the Tribes.

Jordina was awarded the 2016 Soroptimist Riverside Bursary Curtin Scholarship for excellence and dedication to community health service locally, nationally and internationally. In 2017 and 2018, she was the assistant national leader for the Australian delegation of the Ship For World Youth Leaders.
