Cordelia Gibbs

Bachelor of Arts (Fashion) Hons 2014.

Cordelia Gibbs graduated from Curtin University BA (Fashion) (Hons) with a High Distinction in 2014, and is a member of the Vice Chancellor’s List (2012).

Cordelia is an accomplished designer, involved in numerous events and awards. Cordelia was awarded the ‘Young Designer’ and ‘Supreme Champion’ for The 2014 Australian Wool Fashion Awards. Cordelia has shown at Telstra Perth Fashion Festival Future Runway, winning ‘RTW Mens’ in 2013 and ‘Eco Design’ Category in 2014, and been involved in a number of Perth fashion events including PR in Fashion, Fashion[ing] Wool at Enex100 and Curtin’s Fashion Tank with Professor Jimmy Choo. With her current collection, Cordelia was invited to represent Curtin at the Mercedes Benz Malaysian Fashion Week in 2016.

In 2017, Cordelia launched her label ‘COR.D by Cordelia Gibbs’ through Curtin’s School of Fashion Incubator program. As an Associate of the University, Cordelia is developing digital innovation in garment production such as digital patternmaking, computer simulation and the use of whole body scanning technology, along with commerce to make custom made and personalised garments more accessible to the public.
