50 Years of Innovation in Urban and Regional Planning at Curtin

This year Curtin University is celebrating 50 Years of Innovation. That's 50 years since the first students commenced at our predecessor institution, the Western Australian Institute of Technology (WAIT), back in 1967.

All graduates of Urban and Regional Planning at Curtin are invited to attend a special event on Wednesday 8 November, to mark this significant milestone for both the University and the course. The event will also celebrate Curtin’s relationship with the planning profession in WA and provide an opportunity for alumni to reconnect with fellow graduates, staff and members of the profession.

The date of the event coincides with World Town Planning Day, which celebrates the contributions of the planning profession. We are keen to exhibit the amazing work of our graduates and industry partners. Exhibition offerings aligned with the planning industry are very welcome. Please contact Dr Courtney Babb on +61 (8) 9266 7259 or to discuss your suggestions for the exhibition.

We are keen to invite as many graduates as possible and ask that you forward this invitation to other alumni that you are in contact with. Thank you for helping us spread the word. We don't want anyone to miss the opportunity to share their achievements and reconnect.

We look forward to celebrating with you. See you in November!
