Creatures of Clay

In collaboration with the John Curtin Gallery, we’re delighted to be hosting another Art and Community Engagement (ACE) School Holiday Workshop. Join Curtin graduate, Warrick Palmateer who will run Creatures of Clay workshop on Thursday 4 October 2018.

As part of the workshop, children aged 5 – 15 years will be shown the basic skills to build simple clay animals with a focus on creating their own mythical creature to take home. Skills taught will include simple clay modelling and construction techniques. The workshop will begin with a short guided tour of the exhibition, and a light lunch will be provided at the end.

Guardians are welcomed to view Warrick Palmateer’s works as part of Confluence, on display at the John Curtin Gallery. The display will be running from 28 September until 2 December.
