Curtin University's Graduate School of Business is hosting the next CGSB Business Leaders Forum on Leading Western Australians to their intelligent energy future on Tuesday 23 May 2017.

The energy industry in WA, and across the globe, is facing significant disruption from a number of directions, including renewable energy sources, distributed generation, energy storage, peer to peer trading and electric vehicles. The industry’s response to these challenges needs to be agile and dynamic. Accordingly, innovation and technology will be the cornerstone of Synergy leading Western Australians to their intelligent energy future.

About the speaker

Stephanie Unwin, General Manager, Retail, Synergy
Stephanie and her team of more than 160 staff are responsible for ensuring that Synergy meets the evolving needs of its one million residential and business customers, by offering innovative energy products and services, and providing them with a positive retail experience.

Stephanie has a deep understanding of the energy sector, engaging closely with her fellow executives, Synergy’s board and the State Government to shape the future of energy in Western Australia. Her skills span business transformation, strategy, complex commercial transactions, change management, stakeholder management and innovation.

Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Economics (BEcon) from Murdoch University, and in 2016 graduated from Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program (AMP 191).
