A celebration of Physiotherapy at Curtin

A celebration of Physiotherapy at Curtin – Past, Present and Future

Curtin University is celebrating 50 years of innovation. That’s 50 years since the first students embarked on their studies at Curtin’s predecessor institution, the Western Australian Institute of Technology (WAIT), back in 1967. The School of Physiotherapy was established even earlier, in 1953, and was originally based at the Royal Perth Rehabilitation Hospital in Shenton Park, before amalgamating with WAIT.

To mark this very special milestone, the School of Physiotherapy and Exercise Science will be hosting A celebration of Physiotherapy at Curtin - Past, Present and Future on Thursday 23 November. The cocktail event will be an opportunity to rekindle friendships with former students and staff from the School of Physiotherapy and Exercise Science.

Tickets will be going on sale later in the year, but in the meantime we need your help to get the word out to all our alumni. Sadly we don’t have everyone’s current contact details, so please forward this email to your friends and colleagues who graduated from WAIT or Curtin. We don’t want anyone to miss out!

Thank you for helping us to spread the word. I look forward to celebrating with you in November.
