Curtin Business School alumni celebration

This year Curtin University is celebrating 50 Years of Innovation. That's 50 years since we welcomed the first students into our predecessor institution, the Western Australian Institute of Technology (WAIT), and 30 years since it became Curtin.

In the spirit of innovation, Curtin Business School (CBS) is inviting you to attend our exclusive CBS Alumni Celebration on Wednesday 30 August 2017.

Join fellow alumni for networking and refreshments, followed by an interactive tour of two of our innovative learning and teaching facilities - the CBS Trading Room and The Agency (further details below).

This event will provide you with an opportunity to experience the capabilities of these facilities, and understand the impact that innovation in the classroom has on the student experience and how this translates to the workplace.

About the CBS Trading Room

The CBS Trading Room provides a truly innovative learning experience unlike any other teaching facility in Western Australia. The CBS Trading Room is a valuable learning tool for both undergraduate and postgraduate business students. Equipped with Bloomberg Professional software, the facility provides students, staff and industry professionals with access to real-world finance and trading technology and access to real-time and historic financial data.

About The Agency

The Agency is an innovative new teaching and research facility which simulates a contemporary marketing communications consultancy workplace, providing students with an authentic industry environment during their studies. The Agency is powered by Salesforces’ Social Studio which allows business students to experience first-hand how major global brands and companies monitor their online presence using social media analytics.
