35 years of Chemical Engineering at Curtin celebration

On behalf of Curtin University and the Department of Chemical Engineering, we are delighted to invite you to our upcoming celebration, 35 years of Chemical Engineering at Curtin on Friday 1 September 2017 at the Engineering Pavilion on Bentley Campus.

This exciting celebration will include refreshments, a tour of our laboratories (optional), a keynote address from Chemical Engineering alumna, Jessica Mitchell, door prizes, and an exhibition of our current research. Further details below.

In addition, to honour some of our successful Chemical Engineering graduates from the past 35 years, we will be presenting two alumni awards at the celebration.

With this in mind, we invite you to nominate worthy Chemical Engineering alumni for an award. Nominations close at 5pm, Sunday 27 August 2017. To find out more about the awards and nominate a graduate, click here.

About the speaker

Jessica Mitchell was born in Kalgoorlie, and growing up in the Goldfields in a number of different mining towns first sparked an interest in the mining and processing industries, ultimately leading to her graduating from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering in 2003.
