Graduate School of Business Alumni ChapterPresident's welcome
The main focus of our business planning framework is: “To grow the GSB alumni involvement and reputation for the benefit of all alumni and the GSB.” All of our activities are therefore designed to meet this focus and our overarching theme of “Growing Valuable Connections.” With this in mind, we currently deliver a program of events and services that facilitate significant professional and social networking opportunities with like-minded professionals, together with opportunities for career advancement and life-long learning. The chapter is working to raise the profile of the Curtin Graduate School of Business and our alumni in the business community to increase awareness of the quality of Curtin GSB graduates to enhance the value of all GSB qualifications. All graduates, students and staff are welcome and encouraged to participate in our activities. We have recently held a comedy Christmas debate, a Chinese New Year Paralympic Icebreaker and a barbecue and sailing day at South Perth. In addition, we are currently planning our activities for the coming months. Why not enjoy the benefits of staying involved with the GSB once your studies are completed by coming along to our next event to see old friends again and meet some new ones? The new net community online portal should significantly simplify communications with our members when it is launched and offer new routes and methods not yet explored. If you are interested in participating in our alumni network then you must keep us advised of your postal and email address (most events and activities are promoted by email). To update your contact details please complete the update your details form online. I look forward to meeting you at one of our future events or speaking to you again or even welcoming you onto the committee. Yours faithfully, Committee
